mrmxy: Chapter 633: Emancipation.

I was gonna call him Hagarr, but that one's copyright hasn't yet expired.

working at the vet hospital we had a Boston Terrier with pop-eye (when an eye pops out) and his owner was named Popeye (signed his receipt as such even) and HE had an eye popping out too!

THERE'S A MEDICAL CONDITION CALLED POPEYE? I'm jealous of it.

That's a relic from an eye-removal surgery at the vet clinic. The eye of a pug with chronic pop-eye. So we just ended up taking it out for good.

When you say "Hagarr," do you mean Hagar the Horrible, the viking, or the honorable Mike Haggar, the single-suspender-wearing professional wrestler-turned Metro City mayor? This is extremely important.

I noticed the lower dialog bauble in the second frame lacked the conventional pointy thing indicating who is saying it. But then I looked again and realized both characters were shouting the words in unison from their pelvises. I was grateful for the closure.

YES! Unfortunately you were the only one who got it (a telepathic scan revealed), so I'll have to change that for the sake of the ignorant populace.

I probably meant Hagarr the Horrible, since I don't know the other guy and don't keep up with wrestling copyright expiration dates. Actually, I meant Olaf the Viking, which is what Hagarr is called down here. It makes a lot more sense.

You're telling me you've never heard of this Haggar? He's almost a national hero in United Statia (even though he comes from Japan).

Boringly, the Olaf viking I know is also from a video game.

Ah, yes, I'm familiar with that man. His official name in Latinamerica is "One Suspender Pedro". I wasn't aware that he had any backstory.
